Who we are

I am a certified mindfulness teacher, certified integrative thanatologist and end-of-life doula professional. I teach full time in an academic graduate program (Master’s Degree and certificate) in Mindfulness Studies, teach through the lens of specific professions and teach general public on a depth of related topics, and train mindfulness teachers. I have a private practice working with individuals on their grief journeys due to bereavement, illness, approaching end-of-life, or caregiving, as well as life transitions and general needs through the lens of Buddhist psychology and mindfulness. My research and work interests include all that is related to resilience, growth, grief and healing, and cultural and context sensitive learning and development. I look forward to working together with you

I created an online and virtual grief support center and my framework of Mindfulness, Compassion and Community for Griefand Loss (MCCG) in 2014. Prior to more of us getting accustomed to, sometimes reluctantly, to online and virtual spaces. Prior to grief, death and loss becoming consistent household names during the pandemic. Prior to the power of community and mindfulness becoming more and more recognized. Prior to trauma sensitive grief care becoming known.
